Lomamajat – Luray

”We had a fun event to attend at Lydia Mt so it made sense to stay the night. Our room was fine; dusty with many cobwebs on all of the stuff. Additionally, there was no coffee in our room- just an empty basket. The rooms are far too cluttered and dark. Must be a nightmare to clean.”

”Beautiful lodge. Every interesting room. The mattress is horrible. My husband and I had a hard time sleeping on it and woke up numerous times. The bathroom overhead light does need to be cleaned, lots of bugs. We enjoyed the beautiful lodge and the gorgeous setting. Thank you.”

”Very nice had a great time pet friendly. We even took or fur baby to breakfast at there restaurant. We sat outside on there deck overlooking the mountains.”

”The Lydia Mountain Lodge was a nice surprise. We stayed 4 nights and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was quiet and comfortable. The mattresses were very comfy. The grounds and lodge are beautiful and fun to explore. I highly recommend!”

”No toilet paper, barely any shampoo, 2 wash cloths for a week. no one was at the desk ever to get more. Trash was left in the room from the previous visitors”

”Absolutely loved the stay! One of our favorite places for a night away. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Only suggestion is to make sure there are better options for the coffee station. We had no sugar and don’t care for the artificial sweeteners.”

”We enjoyed our stay. However, there were a few hiccups along the way. We arrived at 5:45 and our door code did not work. I called the number listed in my email, one listed on the front door, plus texted the emergency number. It took 30 minutes to get a response. It was just a bit disconcerting to not have staff available, both to address typical needs or in case of an emergency. This also made us uncertain about overall security.”

The restaurant was also good. Our only complaint was the check-in process was odd, we did not see a single staff member the entire stay, and the “self check in” could have been explained a little better. ”Our stay at Sun Dancer was great! Everyone had comfortable sleeping arrangements. Our location to Old Rag Mountain was convenient for doing the hike. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night and seeing the star filled sky. We walked the trails on the property. They were a little overgrown but still doable. We would see a mother and baby fox every day down the driveway. As much as I don't like to cut down trees, it would be nice if one of the trees in front of the house was not there. It...
