”Pool floor was dirty, along with some if the stools in the lobby/breakfast area.”

”The folks working there, particularly at the restaurant and cafe, they are working non-stop, around the clock, all the while doing a great job. Truly great people on the staff and take great care of the guests.”

”We have an amazing time here!”

”Incredibly warm ambience at this property.”

”Perfect for a much needed break. Amazing view of Lake Superior and only 20 minutes from Grand Marais. Full kitchen and charcoal grill included. Clean and cozy.”

”Clean, comfortable and nice staff. Lacking amenities (no pool, hot tub, restaurants on site or nearby), and in-room extras. View from patio was gorgeous but no privacy from next door rooms.”

”The views from the property are outstanding. The Bluefin Grille restaurant is convenient. Good food and a great staff.”

”Helpful staff, nice bathroom, restful sleeping.”

”Nasty beds and room, cleaning staff did not clean the room”

”The property, the home and the host were wonderful. The house was just beautiful and had great lake views from the back windows. the lake was just a short walk out the back door. We were a family of 5 and dogs staying and everything was stocked in the kitchen so we could eat our meals there instead of restaurants. The walking paths nearby were great. Checkin and checkout were easy. Love this place!”

”This property is amazing! It’s our second time staying at Halsnoy Haven and we plan to make it “the” place we come back to each year. The place and lake views are stunning and Paul is responsive and cares a lot about your experience. The attention to detail (manual with tips on what to do and where to go), cleanliness, and high quality amenities are second to none. This place has become our standard that we compare other places to, yet nothing has compared to Halsnoy!”

”Everything was perfect and clean”

”We loved our stay in this spacious secluded home! The renters were very communicative and responsive. The only two negative things were the electronic door lock battery died so we couldn't lock the door when we went out exploring and the arcade machine had no sound despite using the YouTube how to video. We were so pleased with our stay, we may book this place annually for our Northshore trip.”

”Gorgeous property, every single detail was thought out and perfectly executed. Cozy bed, slept like a baby. Delicious coffee, grinder and french press available to use. Nice, reponsive owners and management. We will be back no question.”
