Huonoa: Siisteys, henkilökunta ja palvelu, majoituspaikan kunto ja tilat ja huoneen mukavuus
Check in in New Years Eve was terrible. The lobby was packed with people waiting for their turn to check in. There was no chance of maintaining social distance, as people were going back and forth trying to find their way to the elevator, check in counter and to the restaurant. It took more than an hour for us to check in, as there were only three people working at the reception.
Our room was not prepared, probably due to late booking. The hotel staff tried to fix the problem, but not with very good results. First we only got bed linen, but no extra bed, and the sofa was not wide enough to sleep. Only after requesting for an extra bed (as per reservation), it was brought to the room.
Breakfast room was over crowded, again with no chance to maintain social distance, simply due to lack of space.
I honestly think that the people working at the hotel were doing their very best, but they were clearly under resourced. With probably the busiest night of the year ahead, one would expect the leadership to boost up the manning at the hotel, to avoid long waiting times and unnecessary gatherings of customers. If that is not possible, simply don't allow that many reservations...
As part of the Hilton group, better standards would have been
