”This apartment hotel is located in a peaceful setting near a wonderful beach. The apartments are well equipped with even a fast internet connection. Luz is a quiet, clean retreat during off-season with many beautiful beaches between Luz and Lagos. Staff was very friendly and my only wish is that room cleaning could be earlier.”

”We have visited Estrela de Luz a few times. It is the best. it has large clean rooms - it is all new. It has a great heated indoor pool so that, regardless of the weather, the kids have a great time. The location is superb - expecially if you want to surf- the closes surfable beach is just 5 minutes away by walking. Strongly recommend this hotel!”

”The property is a very good value. Beautiful landscaping, nice pool, and nice distant view of the sea. The breakfast and evening meals were very good and reasonably priced. The only issues were: there is no lift, shower water was a little cool, and no wash clothes (seams to be an issue all over Portugal).”

”We were pleasantly surprised with the quiet, laid back beach town Luz. Praia de luz was a very short walk away from the apartment and ended up becoming one of our favourite beaches in the Algarve. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well equipped for our stay. An excellent option close to Lagos but outside the tourist area. ”

”Absolutely loved the apartment. Very close proximity to the beach and loads of restaurants in the area. Didn't use the resort facilities (pools etc.) as prefer the beach. All in all a fantastic area to stay in. Small complaint was I was not expecting a extra cost of 99 euros for cleaning, housekeeping is only done once through the stay and obviously at the end of the stay but I thought this was a bit excessive!”

”The camping site is a bit old fashioned but the mobil home we got was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately there were neither microwave and air conditioning. The market is small and rather poor of products. The swimming pool is nice and quiet. The nearest beach is at less than 10 mins by car but can also be reached walking. ”
