”The only factor in favour for the hotel is the history and the period property. It needs sprucing up the exterior and somewhat the interior. Room can get hot despite not south face. Breakfast was too slow and so we left without having the main item , 40 minutes after entering.They wrote that breakfast is leisurely but it could be putting a spin on the low staffing.Reception personnel are not quite welcoming or service like..”

”Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships.”

”I liked the outside of the building. The inside was awful. Water stained ceilings. Old smelly furniture stacked up in the corridor. The Window was kept open with a piece of wood, I didn't know until I closed the window. I had to lift the window to close it, only for said piece of wood to fall out and nearly hit someone. Shocking. Tha fan in the room did not have front guard on, I was unable to use it. Bathroom had paint peeling from the skirting around the shower. Mould on the sealant. ...
