”This was our third year at this property. We are always sublimely satisfied. The best is the feeling of privacy being on surrounded by water on 3 sides. We like the simplicity of the decor and the lack of a TV. We also like that certain basic food stuffs are left (like salt and pepper) in case we forgot them. It's perfect. ”

”Todd is a wonderful host. He is extraordinarily responsive. The house is beautifully set up. The kitchen has everything you need to make full meals you can enjoy in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the stunning valley. The house is an easy drive to Willoughby lake and Mt, Pisgah for a day of hiking. We also biked on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail and visited Hill Farmstead Brewery for spectacular beers in a lovely setting. As someone else noted, you really want to have a 4-wheel drive car to...

”Our second time staying at this property. Another great experience! The house is very well designed and accommodates our very large extended family, with plenty of rooms for sleeping and great open spaces to sit and talk. Wonderful views!The host is easy to communicate with and was very responsive. Planning to return to this property again.”

”This property was simply amazing - the location was easy to stowe, remote enough to feel Vermonty, but not too rural at all. The inside of the home was SO clean and well decorated. Cozy, large and well laid out. Beds are very comfy and great linens. We did not want to leave :) Kitchen was well stocked and they use natural/fragrance free products which was huge for me! The house is much larger and spacious than pictures showed. ”

”Easy access. Beautiful stocked kitchen. Plenty of living area with 2 separate areas for people relax and playing games, and two lovely decks overlooking the water. Loved the quietness of the lake and access to kayaks and water boards for extensive time on the lake. A peaceful lake and a beautiful place to take a break from the world. ”

”We've enjoyed our stay at the kirby. The view is breathtaking .Kitchen is fully stocked but some of the utensils have broken handles. But it wasnt a big deal. One of the upstair room have no air conditioner so it gets warm on a hot days. Overall we love the kirby and plan to come back next fall.”

”We had a great stay!! The view from the house was awesome. We rented kayaks one day from Clyde River Rec and spent the day on the lake. We also hiked to the summit of Mt. Pisgah. All very close by. There is basically no service in the area and wifi is unreliable but we totally enjoyed being off the grid! The Gap restaurant was close by and good. Mostly picked up food from local farm stands though. Overall great stay and owner was responsive!! ”

”Enjoyed our weeks stay, as always. Beautiful farmhouse with everything you can think of for kitchen facilities and a beautiful water view. This very much feels like a family lives here. And the West Hill Pond is right out your back door, a pristine and private pond that is as large as many lakes and totally private. Only 4 or so houses on the entire pond. We particularly enjoyed a daily canoe around the pond and the call of the loons. Unique home and location.”

”Absolutely perfect relaxing lakefront house in every way! The bed was very comfortable, the relaxation areas were great, the fan really helped cool things off and the windows brought in just enough cool mountain air and the sound of the loons! The kitchen was also ideal. The location was spectacular, the views and the sunsets were not to be missed and an easy 10 minute drive into town with a good selection of restaurants and markets.
