Eristäytynyt, Off-Grid, koira-ystävällinen Cabin koskematon järvi

Tämä kodikas, maalaismainen mökki on 250 metriä yksityistä rantaa koskematonta Six Mile Lake, noin 7 meripeninkulman päässä merestä. Täydellinen hiljaiseen vetäytymiseen ihmisistä, liikenteestä, saastumisesta ja nykyaikaisen digitaalisen elämän stressistä. Eristäytynyt paikka ilman näkyviä naapureita, 10 minuutin päässä Machias kaupungista. Nauti katsomasta keloja, melontaamme kanootteja, kalastusta ja erinomaista, rikkaruohomaista uintia.

Off-grid, kausiluonteinen mökki (toukokuu-marraskuu). Ei sisällä vesijohtovettä, juoksevaa vettä tai sähköä. Puhdas vesi suihkussa ja pesuastioissa järvestä ja sateiden tynnyreistä (Vieraiden tulee tuoda juomavettä.) Hyvin varustettu keittiö.

Yksinkertaisten ja maalaismainen ominaisuuksien ansiosta hytti on houkuttelevampi retkeilijöille, leiriläisille ja ihmisille, jotka rakastavat rauhaa ja yksinäisyyttä ulkona.

Kesäkuun puolivälissä syyskuun puoliväliin (meidän sesonkiaika), vuokrattu viikolla, lauantaina vuorokaudenpäivänä. Off-season, päivämäärät ovat joustavia kahden yön minimiin.

Kaikki koot tai tyypit koirat ovat tervetulleita mökkiin ja niillä on runsaasti tilaa hinaamaan off-hinaus. Uimapuvut todella rakastavat tätä ominaisuutta.

We don't allow the use of candles (fire hazard). We suggest flashlights and headlamps for outside use; the cabin has no exterior lights (by design).
Do not leave the woodstove, or outside fire (in the firepit) unattended.
Please be extremely careful when using the fire pit and keep a container of water nearby at all times to douse the fire if necessary.

We loved the cabin, very clean and cozy, wood burning stove was great, it's location the fire pit and the canoe, the neighborhood was great for walking. Amazing property! Photos don't capture the beauty of this place. Inside of cabin is unbelievable. Modern fixtures, incredible ceiling fans, light dimmer on all overhead lights, sky lights, large windows and a beautiful bathroom. I could go on. Fully stocked with everything you need, just bring food. To say my dogs enjoyed their stay would be an understatement. Back deck is gated and a great place for the dogs to chill and dry off without worrying about them. The host, Anne, was super nice and available if needed. No issues with mosquitoes either. Definitely will be returning.

Peaceful Escape

Not only is the cabin gorgeous but the location and the property could not be better for a quiet escape in the woods. The pups loved swimming in the lake. The star viewing is also unmatched. The whole experience is perfect.

First of all, Anne was very prompt in all communications and offered guidance for our stay. The cabin was just amazing! We stayed 4 nights with our dog and we loved every minute of it! The cabin is totally renovated and everything is new and has anything you need! It is pristine and provides such warmth the minute you open the door! It is in the wilderness overlooking a beautiful lake and the tranquility provides for memories of a lifetime!

Terrific Camp Experience

Great private location with very comfortable and clean camp. Gravel access road might be a challenge for someone with a car that has low clearance, but it added to the remote feel and we didn’t have any issues with our Subaru. The host was great and everything was as advertised. The family really enjoyed mornings and evenings by the water’s edge and hanging out on the deck. The lake was quiet and a fantastic place to paddle without the worry of speeding boats.

This was exactly what we were hoping for. Quiet, beautiful location, comfortable and clean. Having a wood stove was a pleasant surprise since we had a few days of rain. We took the canoe out on the lake & didn’t see another person. We are already dreaming about our next visit.

Perfect cabin

The cabin was all it was advertised. The new remodel was flawless. The location was quiet, secluded and beautiful. The falling leaves were a constant source of entertainment. This cabin has set the bar very high for my future rentals. This property is outstanding.

UTV getaway!!

Our host Anne, was very accommodating and pleasant. We had and issue with the lock box apon arriving and Anne was quick to respond. The location offered solace and convenience. We were able to fish off shore, and caught a couple brookies. It was pet friendly and safe. Our 4-legged "girl" was comfortable there. Very private lot with a beautiful view. We road the Sunrise trail, which was close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay..

Great secluded cabin

Very well appointed and newly remodeled cabin with great seclusion. You see no other cabins or people from the wonderful porch and dock. It is small, but ideal for two (there are two twin beds in the loft, but you need to be very careful climbing the latter). Also, ideal place for our golden retriever! She loved it there, with water to swim and plenty of squirrels to chase. The lake is small and stocked only with trout (which are very difficult to catch in the summer, as they are deep in the middle of the lake). I caught only one small one. However, fantastic bass fishing in nearby lakes. I hired a local guide for fly fishing (Bill Robinson with Denny River Camp -- highly recommended) and caught about two dozen bass each of the two days I fished. Smallmouth bass fishing heaven. Helen's in Machias is an excellent restaurant, but not much more nearby (other than great fishing). One drawback with the cabin is very poor internet (to be expected, however, in such a secured area). We were fine without TV but missed being able to surf the web :). Bring plenty of books to read. Finally, Anne was a terrific host!

Absolutely Perfect

My wife and I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at this little cabin in the woods. The freshly renovated cabin felt cozy and had all the necessities to make us feel at home during our week stay. The setting of the cabin is breathtaking with a remote lake about 100 feet from the cabin. We enjoyed swimming, canoeing, and fishing in the lake and didn’t see another person on it during our entire stay. It was the perfect setting for our Maine vacation. Our only regret is not renting it a few more days.

Amazing!! Must see for yourself

All great things to say about this beautiful property. If you are looking for absolute peace and quiet away from people and noise this is the place to be. Cabin is gorgeous and clean. Relaxing on the back deck overlooking the lake was incredible. Perfect trees for a hammock!! We canoed on the lake and had it all to ourselves. It was awesome! Anne is a great host and is very responsive to all communications. 10/10 recommend. We will be back!
