”Das Hotel ist wirklich empfehlenswert - tolles, stets hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal, große Zimmer, kein Durchgangsverkehr, direkte Lage am Meer, sehr gute Gaststätten und Bars und auch ein Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Umgebung, toller Steinstrand mit traumhaften Sonnenuntergängen, sehr gute Anbindung an die Schnellstraße, ohne vom dortigen Verkehr was mitzubekommen. Einzig die Tiefgarage erfordert fortgeschrittene Einpark-Skills. :-) Fazit: wir kommen wieder! Danke für die tollen und...

”Parfait endroit pour un séjour paisible à Sao Vicente. L'ambiance calme qui y règne nous donnait envie de chuchoter. La vue de notre chambre était magnifique, surtout au lever du soleil où pouvait admirer le "montain glow". Le déjeuners inclut était composé d'ingrédients frais et variés, comme les fruits du jardins et le yogourt maison. Nous y avons passé deux nuits et on aurait voulu rester plus longtemps! ”

”We booked a room with a balcony and view to the sea but got a room with no balcony, only a little window and no see view. Would Not have taken this hotel if we new in advance what kind of room we would get. The staff was nice. ”

”Hotellin sijainti on mainio. Lähellä lentoasemaa, ei kuitenkaan lentomelua., Machico on kiva 20000 asukkaan kaupunki, jossa on kaikki palvelut ja aito hiekkaranta. Hotellin aamiainen on hyvä. Parkkipaikat ok.”

”The house was immaculately clean, well-equipped, and full of character, an ideal place to relax after a day exploring Madeira. The location is great, peaceful, near fantastic hiking trails and viewpoints. Waking up and drinking a coffee on the patio was heaven. Everything was well taken care of, thanks to André, a fantastic host organizing everything with attention to detail. This was my home from home during this visit, and I'm already planning on returning. Highly recommend to anyone seeking...

”Lovely quiet hotel in Machico, short walking distance to the sea front. I enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were very helpful with an issue I had with my passport and helping with my luggage while I went Scuba diving after check out.”

”Hotelli sijaitsee Santo da Serran kylässä n. 15 minuutin matkan päässä lentokentältä n. 900 metrin korkeudessa. Kylässä on pari kauppaa, baari ja ravintola. Sunnuntaisin kylässä pidetään markkinat. 27-reikäiselle golfkentälle matkaa n. 800 metriä. Tulevat hakemaan hotelilta golf kentälle jos minibussi on paikalla. Sää täällä hieman korkeammalla on epävakaisempi ja kylmempi kuin Fuchalissa. n. 100 m hotellilta bussipysäkki mistä pääsee Fuchaliin useita kertoja päivässä hintaan 2,70e.”

”We came in late late late and were able to just zip over from the airport in a matter of minutes. There was parking super close by and it was so easy to get into the place even though it was around 12:30 a.m. It was a tiny room but it was the perfect size to just watch a little internet tv, fall asleep and wake up to the sun shining off the quaint streets and beautiful waterfront. The shower was great. There was a coffee machine and, even better, a coffee shop almost directly across the street....

”Le logement est très propre, l’aménagement est très cosy, le cadre est ok. On a beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le seul point négatif est l’emplacement. Nous nous sommes sentis observés par les voisins. Et il manquerait un peu d’ustensiles pour la cuisine : un éplucheur à légumes et une passoire pour les pâtes serait parfait.👍”

”Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gefallen. Es befindet sich am ersten Stock von einem Haus. Erdgeschoß ist unbewohnt. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder, gemütlichen Wohnraum, Küche und eine Terasse von der man einen schönen Blick auf die Stadt und Dorfplatz hat. Es gibt viele Cafes, Bäckereien und Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist in unmittelbarer Nähe vom Hafen und Strandpromenade. 10 min zum Wallfangmuseum (empfehlenswert). Gerne wieder.”

"Sijainti hyvä kaupungin ja hotellialueen puolivälissä. Nyt helmikuussa 2025 hissi oli remontissa josta syystä joutui kiipeämään ylempään (vanhempaan) hotelliin ja ylemmille kaduille. Uudempi de Mar hotelli on ihan rannassa eli ei mäkeä keskustan suuntaan. Lähistöllä hyviä ravintoloita ja baareja. Uima-allas on lämmittämätön merivesiallas joka oli helmikuussa n 18 asteinen. Tais respassa oli ihan huippu ja ansaitsee palkankorotuksen. "

"Good location. We enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and sauna. Good breakfast with fresh fruit and orange juice. But the staff of the hotel was very rude. When we arrived there was two working in the reception, no guests and we received a very cold hello. Every time we walked past the reception we were not greeted. Upon check out very rude, did not ask about our Stay or wish us safe travelling. Felt like very basic manners were missing. Also breakfast staff rude. Breakfast ended at 10.30 and they started plating dinner already at 10. Accidentaly sat down in a table with dinner set up and was heavily scolded that can’t i see the set up is for dinner. Can’t understand the rude staff. Very weird."
