”Check-in was done via text message and key left in the room and door left unlocked so I could get in. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy with instruction laid out on the bench to read. ”The cabin was very clean and check-in and out was really easy. The decor is quite dated but very well equipped if you want to self-cater. Bedside lamps would be good in the bedroom and more information in the property guide would be good e.g. which cabin bin to use for rubbish, which one for recycling, where to get laundry powder for machine etc. Eungella National Park & various walks are super close and absolutely stunning. ”Pro's: Clean bedsheets and towels, aircon was working. Con's: The room was dated and old, smelled a bit musty. The room entrance was right next to the hotel's rear exit where they had lots of rubbish stashed, general condition was terrible. ”

”Room is very dated, with mould starting in the bathroom walls and kitchen blinds. Carpet and lino worn. TV and free Wifi worked well. Everything in the kitchen you would need. Fantastic meal at the restaurant! Will go back again just for the feed, and a very reasonable price”

”2nd stay there and a great spot, room was not directly in the afternoon sun, so the room is not so boiling hot that the AC couldn’t cope,unlike the last place we stayed at across the road starting with an O, on our last visit to MacKay.”

”Solo emergency stay over as a family member needed surgery at the local hospital, booked the single cabin - had everything I needed - however I would suggest ear plugs as the highway is close, eye mask as the door is glass and a light shines through all night. Otherwise all good.”
