Hostellit – Mackenzie Basin

”Room only but in decent condition and shared amenities were decent. Good location.”

”This one was nice and beautiful with huge windows and nice view to lake tekapo! I loved fireplaces a lot! Good place to go see stars at night, actually second best on in hole planet earth. Best one is in Hawaii, Big Island and top of Mauna Kea mountain I think... We loved stuff members too, they were so great! There is a lot of space for cooking and hanging around! Rooms are comfy. Night time it gets cold because old one glazed winwods... but you can go hang on fireplaces!”

”Great place to stay, it seems they have been updating the place as our room was very different from the photos on the website in a good way. Easy check in, great amenities. Only concern was the creaking front door as a light sleeper. But all in all would highly recommended.”
