”We had a great time at The Mac Shak. The house is really well appointed, with lots of helpful information for guests, plus games, dvds, books. The garden is completely enclosed and safe for dogs, our pup loved sniffing around and exploring, and our kids loved toasting marshmallows around the fire. I loved sitting on the deck in the morning, looking out at the trees and listening to the birds. It's a charming little place with lots of character. We would stay here again if we're in the area.”

”The house was just not a comfortable place to stay. Apart from the bedrooms, everything was not as clean as it should be. By the time the shower glass is rusted, (looked dirty) it’s time to replace it! Screen door fell off one hour after arrival. I know it’s meant to be a retro house, but it needs a bit more work on it.”

”Beautifully designed property with a tranquil view. Gorgeous native birds would visit the balcony every morning and the facilities were like new. The nearby beaches were stunning and there are many surrounding cafes and restaurants. Everything was lovely and I would definitely like to return here again. It was the perfect relaxing getaway!”

”A wonderful house with all the necessary modcons but nothing unnecessary. Great location, an easy walk to the beach and surfclub. Perfectly cleaned before arrival, beds all made up and towels provided. I would definitely recommend and we will stay here again. ”
