Tomin maalaismainen oma mökki

Löydät täydellisen rauhan ja rentoutumisen Serran-järven rannalla sijaitsevasta mökistä. Erittäin rauhallinen ja yksityinen ympäristö, josta on mahtavat näkymät järvelle ja kauniille rantaviivalle.

HUOMAUTUS: sesongin ulkopuolella (joulukuu - toukokuu) palvelut ovat rajoitetut. Pesuun ja käymälään (ei suihkua) on saatavilla rajoitettua juoksevaa vettä. Ota täydellinen kuvaus talven käytöstä ottamalla yhteyttä isäntään ennen varauksen tekemistä. Kaikista sesongin ulkopuolisista varauksista vaaditaan vähintään 7 päivän irtisanomisaika.

Nauti monista aktiviteeteista kaikille, mukaan lukien kalastus, veneily, vaellus, pyöräily, kiertoajelut, mönkijät, kulttuuritapahtumat, festivaalit, museot ja paljon muuta. Talvikaudella jääkalastus, moottorikelkkailu, lumikenkäily ja maastohiihto ovat suosittuja alueen monien polkujen takia.

Mökin palvelut:
3 makuuhuonetta: 2 parivuode, 1 kerrossänky. Liinavaatteet ja tyynyt tarjotaan.
Keittiö: täysikokoinen jääkaappi, liesi / uuni, mikroaaltouuni, kahvinkeitin (Keurig), vedenkeitin, leivänpaahdin, ruokailuvälineet, astiat, kattilat ja pannut
Kylpyhuone: suihku, wc ja pesuallas
Olo / ruokailuhuone: avoauto vuodesohva, ruokapöytä, TV / DVD / Android-laatikko

Kiinteistön mukavuudet:
Telakka, 12 jalan alumiinivene, jossa on melat ja pelastusliivit, propaani-BBQ, palo-kuoppa ja paljon muuta. Polttopuut sisältyvät hintaan.

Vuokrausehdot:
Tupakointi: Ei sallittu mökin sisällä, ok ulkopuolella, ei saa roskata.
Lemmikkieläimet: Sallitaan seuraavilla rajoituksilla: On puhdistettava lemmikkien jälkeen, enint. 2 lemmikkieläintä per vierailu sallittu.
Vieraat: Vakiokapasiteetti on 5. Enimmäiskapasiteetti on 7 yön yli vieraille (lisämaksu veloitetaan). Enintään 10 henkilöä saa olla kiinteistössä milloin tahansa. Juhlat ja suuret ryhmätapaamiset eivät ole sallittuja.
Vesijohtovettä ei voida käyttää. Vieraita kehotetaan tuomaan omat pullotetut vedet tai sopimaan omistajan kanssa ennen saapumista.

Weeklong getaway at the bay

Lovely weeklong getaway. Lots of opportunity to boat, fish, beach, enjoy a nighttime campfire, and be one with nature. Pet friendly, which was necessary and fantastic!

Disappointed

Booked Victoria Day weekend (Sat & Sun) 2025. Arrived to find a swarm of mosquitoes outside. Raining at the time. Felt the ad should include a warning for this time of year for potential renters who are not used to mosquitoes. There was power outage shortly after we arrived after a very light, short storm. Tom kept updating us on the restoration of power, which never happened. So no power, no TV (remote lost), no water - we carried buckets of water from the lake to flush the toilet, no outdoor activity (endless mosquitoes), no use of fridge - our food was starting to spoil by the second day. We therefore departed by 8am on the second day. Tom never offered to cancel our stay. Kept saying it wasn't in his control. Only after I explained to him that a reasonable person would have back-up power source, did he refund the second day's fee. He wanted to refund less than half the second day's fee and 50% off our next stay - probably knew we'd never book again :). Be aware also that Tom rambles a lot. Waste of customers' time. No renter wants to speak with a cottage owner more than they have to. The cottage did feel a bit isolated as it's set back at bit in the woods. Not like the cottages on the lakes whichwe've rented in the past. Cant tell from the photos on VRBO. ofcyear

Family Vacation

Our time at this rustic cabin was wonderful. The host's communication was perfect and the description was almost spot on. This cottage provided us the opportunity to relax, read, swim and spend time with each other. The weather was amazing so we were outside almost all day every day. The beach is great, we did a couple of paddles on the kayaks and the boys did some fishing (little perch). The cottage is very private and the lake is serene and quiet enough to hear the loon. The boys loved the zip line and the view was amazing. Thank you to our host for sharing your little gem.

Great stay

Me and two friends went for some fishing and relaxation. Great little spot. Shallow water off the dock so we caught lots of jumbo perch. Cleanliness was excellent and we forgot our bluetooth speakers at home so it was a nice surprise that one was provided. Nice to have a row boat with the rental as well. Host was very responsive and friendly.

Super location

Stay was wonderful! View of the lake from cottage was amazing. Cottage right on the water. Close to our favourite restaurant the Wilno Tavern. Close to charming little parks and beaches and hiking trails. Only stayed for 2 nights and wished we booked longer. Went in October. Only minor thing was the sofa was very uncomfortable to sit on and watch tv. Tom followed up with us which I thought was great. Thanks Tom.

Very relaxing after long road trip

We should have stayed a bit longer, Tom's cottage is perfect to calm down and relax after a long and intensive sightseeing road trip through USA and Canada. No motor boats on the lake, the next busy road quite far away - best place to relax. We liked also on evenings to make BBQ with the gas grill and the camp fire in the fire pit . I hope there is a next time to get there.

Quiet and private cabin on a lake

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! The property is well maintained and steps away from the lake. We were there for 4 days and seen 3 boaters. Amazing pizza from Vito’s pizzeria!

Quiet, beautiful location

Easy communication with Tom, lovely little cabin which was more than enough for us and the dogs. It was too cold to swim but sitting at the lake and listening to the loons was peaceful and lovely.

Wonderful break!

The cottage has everything one needs. Important feature was stable WiFi, since I had to work for two days. No issues with supporting all-day conference calls. The rest - pure joy! Extremely quiet in late October, great get-away from the city. Looking forward to coming back!

Tom’s Serene Setting

If you are searching for a peaceful lake to relax, swim, enjoy natural surroundings, look no further than Tom’s cottage. Serran Lake is small and ‘motorless’ - the odd canoe, paddle board and loon is what you will see. With only a dozen or so cottages on the lake (spaced well apart for privacy) there is very little noise pollution. Our children are in their 20s and they loved floating around the lake suntanning and chilling at the clear beach area. The cottage, elevated on the property, is indeed rustic and cozy, with everything you will need, including a nice shower. Spaces were incredibly clean, bbq is excellent, air conditioning appreciated, fire pit is wonderfully perched on a hill with a view of the lake. The cottage is a narrow design and does not allow for much furniture - there is one couch and ample card table type dining chairs. We did bring fold up Cabela’s ‘director chairs’ which were very handy for a comfortable seating option with side tables….something to consider. We had great weather, so we weren’t inside much. Our small dog was happy all week watching red squirrels run up trees. Lots of room on property to manoeuvre a small trailer we use to haul water toys and all. We simply had a wonderful week, very peaceful, serene setting.

A peaceful stay

Tom's cottage is ideally located on a quiet road. The lake is peaceful. We enjoyed campfires and fishing, and even caught a bass we were able to eat for supper.

Our stay was absolutely beautiful. The cottage is in such perfect condition and was the cleanest cottage we have ever stayed at! Inside and out. Tom has everything you can think of, even wifi for the kids when dark falls. Tom's hospitality was over and beyond accommodating. He responds promptly to concerns and makes sure all your needs are properly met. The lake is stunning, we didn't catch much fish but the time spent together at this beautiful rustic cottage was exactly what we all needed!! Thanks again for everything Tom.
