”This multi-level house/cabin works well for family and friends to gather on the island. Lots of room inside and outside for potluck dinners and game nights. The basement 2br apartment was especially nice for our son's family with a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and has excellent appliances. Claire was a great host and responded immediately to all questions. There is excellent storage and lots of refrigerator and freezer space for your island stay, ”

”we had a really lovely time on Madeline Island. The house was just what we needed - modest, but with all the necessary amenities to cook a meal, relax and enjoy the water. The access across the road was easy and convenient. The kayaks were awesome! We had an early snag where the property had not been fully cleaned from the previous guests but Alan was on it immediately and offered compensation for the hassle which was much appreciated! Highly recommend!”

”The house worked out great for us. We went over to the town park several times and enjoyed the fire pit (calling to check the local fire safety status was new to me but understandable, especially given the amount of wildfires in MN/Canada).It is definitely quieter on the north side of the island which was just right for us. Thanks for letting us use the place!”
