”This was our fourth trip to the river house. This time we went to celebrate my granddaughter who turned 13 and my daughter who turned 30. It was a wonderful week full of fun, adventure, hiking, swimming/playing in the river, s’mores, food and games. This is the absolute best place in the world for quality family time. ”The location is great for downtown entertainment. The unit was clean, instructions for check in and out easy, the owner very responsive. It is dog friendly and the sliding back door faces a walking area that is very convenient for taking the dogs out on walks without having to go around the building. Nice view of the river and hills!”

”Stayed in Lynchburg to watch minor league baseball. Was only 10 minutes away from field and 5 minutes away from shopping. Quiet neighborhood. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. The neighbor does have dogs that bark at your dog if you bring your dog. ”

My grandchildren loved every moment spent there. We were there for seven days, and no one was ready to leave. We swam, and swam some more. They climbed trees, made smores, shot baskets and BB guns.
