”This beautiful sanctuary truly is magical! If you think you're going to have any western luxuries, please reduce your expectations! This is a rural eco lodge. We stayed in the mountain cabins and we didn't have hot water, so we made due with coldish water. That really was the only inconvenience. Food was amazing! From the staff to the elephant handlers, it was sooooo great! Being able to see the elephants walk around and feed them and watch their personalities shine, really was magical. As for...

”The Hipster is a no-frills place to stay if you are like us and just sleep there, leaving early in the morning and returning at night. PROS: Near the airport. Quiet side street. Hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. Inexpensive taxi / tuk-tuk ride into the city. Comfortable small lobby area. CONS: Not in the downtown area, so you just can't go out and walk around. Very no-frills rooms, just a typically hard Thai bed, wall mounted TV and small table on the porch area. Bathrooms...
