”The property itself on is steeped in its own history with a direct descendant of the family providing a historical narrative on life in Natchez, Mississippi and the old south.
It was a great experience going back in time and we also got to take our dog. Wholeheartedly recommend.”
”We loved our stay at Riverboat Bed and Breakfast!!! We were met by Mary Beth who was absolutely wonderful. The historical home was gorgeous and so accommodating. We only stayed one night, which next time I won’t make that mistake lol, so we didn’t have much time there but we definitely enjoyed every minute of our trip. I can’t wait to go back!!! ❤️”
”We stayed in the Carriage House, which despite being very old did have modern facilities. The air conditioning and shower were very good. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. It was good to have the option to stream films on the TV. We were sent an email from our host with instructions to access the property and park which also gave good recommendations to local restaurants and attractions.”
”When you stay at The Pillars, you’re transported to yesteryear, when things were quieter, softer, more genteel than present day. Even the house cats seem relaxed, as they casually study the guests and decide to offer you their welcome. The surroundings, from decor to bed linens are sumptuous, and the overall feeling is one of quiet discovery as you imagine yourself living there in a different century.”
”Absolutely wonderful. Very nice house. Tastefully decorated with a lot of oil paintings and antiques . Coleen was an excellent host. Breakfast was a fruit cup with yogurt, chicken and waffles, coffee and juice. Big and Belle were loving fur babies. Absolutely a 10+.”

”Great customer service @ front desk! They’re spot on to bring somethg to your room or right there if you cannot figure out how to turn on the TV. Who does that anymore?? The Castle restaurant had some of the best food I’ve eaten next to my son-in-law’s cooking! I’ll drive 2 hrs just for that steak, spinach salad & mile high banana cream pie! Loved it all…you must try it out! You won’t be disappointed!!! ”

”Arrived early and staff worked quickly to get my room ready. Room was clean and smelled good. Pool was very clean. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of options and staff quickly worked to add fresh food as needed. Very welcoming place and would love to stay again. ”
