Vi havde et alle tiders kæmpe tre lige uden foran og om morgenen, da vi skulle spise morgenmad, var aberne meget interesserede. Det var en morgenmad, som var inklusiv i opholdet, men det blev bragt til værelset til aftalt tid og man kunne komme med ønsker om preferencer. Tillige fik vi en mygge skåner. Vi havde brug for transport og stedet havde en mand ansat, der gerne kørte os til adskillige oplevelser og endda...

”Rauhallisella paikalla mäen päällä sijaitseva kaunis hotelli, jonka huoneista upea näköala merelle, läheiselle Jungle Beachille ja Galleen. Vain muutamia huoneita, joten tunnelma on intiimi ja kattoterassilla/altaalla ei koskaan ruuhkaa. Söimme aamiaisen lisäksi useamman kerran hotellin ravintolassa ja pidimme kovasti. Ainoa miinusmerkkinen asia liittyy syrjäiseen sijaintiin. Iltaisin olisi ollut kiva käydä vielä kävelyllä, mutta pimeällä hotellilta oli vaikea liikkua jalkaisin mihinkään. Aina...

”It's a well-located about 10 minutes walk from Galle Fort and less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good air-con and a fridge. The breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. The pool is also nice. The only downside is that the wi-fi was strong some of the time, but very patchy and slow at other times. Apart from this issue, it's a great place to stay.”

”Vi har boet på Lady Hill i 2024 og nu igen i 2025. Her er virkelig dejligt. Hotellet har den smukkeste udsigt. Det ligger i gåafstand til Galle Fort, hvor der er altid er meget trafik og mange mennesker. Det er dog ikke noget man mærker til på hotellet, som ligger tilbagetrukket på bakken. Her kan man virkelig nyde roen og stilheden. Stedet er meget rent, og alt personale er søde, imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Maden er også rigtig god. Vi er især glade for at morgenmaden vælges ud fra en menu,...

”Everyone here goes above and beyond! Excellent customer service, i stayed in one of the suites with private pool and jacuzzi and it was worth it! There are only 3 of those suites so book early, im sure all rooms are nice but the suitrs are top notch. The hotel is very well kept, staff always keeping an eye in perfection, the restaurant is highly recommended, delicious food, breakfast is great too and the staff in the restaurant are superb. If you are coming to Sri Lanka, you need to book here...

”Staying right in the centre of town near Pedlar St in this very modern clean home was a delight. The bonus was the lovely couple who owned it. So generous and welcoming, including us in their festivities for New Year and preparing special Sri Lankan afternoon tea treats for us. Our attic room and sitting room were upstairs. The air conditioning was very welcome and the bed very comfy. ”

”I rented an Airbnb in unawatuna which ended up turning in an awful experience. I had to find a new place last minute and I was really happy when I arrived to snooze. It’s clean, the boss is a respectful and kind person who is available to help guests when in need, the room was spacious with ac and hot water. Ended up paying half of what I paid for the Airbnb nightmare. I extended another night at snooze. I definitely recommend it specifically if you’re a woman traveling alone as I am. ”

”Nous avons séjourné seulement deux nuits pour découvrir la région mais nous avons adoré le lieu et surtout l’atmosphère relaxante et cosy du Jungle Village. C’est une expérience très agréable, les chambres sont vraiment spacieuses et agréable avec une vue sur la canope. L’environnement de l’hôtel nous a ressourcé et relaxé le temps de notre séjour.
