”What a wonderful place! As close to paradise as you can get! Casual and comfortable, with no pretension. The tidal pool was perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The food was incredible! The owners, staff and the locals who frequent the place were so warm and welcoming, you come in as strangers and leave as family! Can’t wait to return! ”

”If you want incredible scuba diving with the on site dive shop run by Turquoise Divers you can do boat and shore dives on spectacular walls and reefs.
Although a bit remote on a quiet part of the island, it is very secure and they offer all sorts of excursions by boat and bus.
There is a calm cove for swimming and snorkeling, nice pools and very family friendly.
Food is fine and the drinks are cold. Entertainment nightly, although it can be cheezy but fun!
They do offer very reasonable airport...

”Roatan Yacht Club is in principle a nice Motel-style of place. Location is terrible as the neighborhood is very shady. Pool is lot smaller than in the pictures it seems. Food however is very good. The best Club sandwich that we ever had. Drinks not too expensive and bar staff very helpful. Price is a bit upscale considering the place.”

”The pools had tiles coming off and the menu was the same each night. Different food options would have been nice. Some food items were over priced. Waitress Sherrice was absolutely fantastic. Polite, helpful, and guided us in the right direction to find excursions. She is a keeper and needs a raise. She was running around working like crazy. She got things done and hopefully management realizes what a gem they have.”

My only complaint was the mattress was not comfortable. There was a big lump right where you lie and the sides of the bed tapered so you feel like you will roll off. Otherwise the place was amazing”

”This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed. It is comfortable with great location and staff is very helpful. It is also very private, nice and cozy and offers excellent opportunities for snorkeling at the house reef. Food was absolutely magnificent and the ladies working the kitchen were nice and helpful. ”The Blue Bahia was everything I was looking for in a relaxed, down to earth, island getaway. From arrival to departure, the staff and dive shop members were all welcoming, friendly, and informative. We stayed for 8 nights and by the time we had to leave we had felt like we had become part of Blue Bahia family and getting woven into the islander life style.
