”We stayed at the Royal Bora Bora for only one night in between other parts of our trip but should have planned for more nights here. While the pool is small and the fish sandwiches we had at the bar restaurant were awful, the overall resort is charming, a cool Polynesian vibe, great breakfast buffet and family friendly games area near the very nice beach with kayaks available. ”Ingrid is fantastic! So nice and helpful. Ingrid is a French native so the home is clean, new. She or her housekeeping service did military grade hospital corners on the beds, it was amazing detail everywhere like that. No dryer, just washer but she has a clothes rack and it was windy enough at night to dry clothes. ”Everything was just perfect! Communication from the very beginning with Ingrid was informative and reply’s were quick. On arrival Ingrid had a taxi waiting to take us to the Villa where Ingrid and Olivier were waiting to greet us. ”Married couple own the lodge. They are both very nice and helpful. They have four dogs. One dog bark's a lot. Bora Bora has lots of hungry stray homeless dogs. Perhaps they provided a home to some. Also, there are other houses next to the Lodge. People make noise. Need ear plugs. You need a car or scooter for transportation.
