”We booked this hotel last minute, and the availability may have been an indicator of what to expect. Check-in was quick and easy, which was appreciated.
Upon arrival, the parking lot and exterior appearance were somewhat concerning, as the area looked a bit run-down and parking seemed unorganized. The walk from the front desk to the room was warm and stuffy, though the distance itself was not an issue.
One concern was that our room door was unlocked when we arrived, which felt unsettling. The...

”The owners of the property were so friendly and personable! I arrived late. 11pm or later. Check in was a breeze. Had a nice conversation with the couple who own the property. Turns out we’re originally both from the same area. The room was so cute. Rustic charm with a nice flat screen tv. I loved the duck toilet paper dispenser. I will definitely be back. If you are in the Bangor area I highly recommend taking the 20 min drive to this place. Great place to spend the night!”

”Loved that the unit came with a table for 4! Did not love the dusty baseboards and loud heat/ac unit that was too loud for us to sleep comfortably. Also did not like that the sleeping area is not separate from the kitchen area. Prefer a bathroom with the sink inside so that other people in the party are not disrupted. Wonderful staff and overall good stay but could have been better.”
