”We loved this location, a few minutes' walk to the wonderful Makarora river braidplain. The house is unique: rustic and a little run down. Comfortable enough if you aren't expecting luxury. Some things could use a little updating (i.e. floors and bath fittings) but all this is secondary to the stunning landscape. We enjoyed our 10 days exploring the area--be sure to check out The Craypot fish and chippie at the end of the road over Haast Pass and the Wilkin Jet Boat tours.”

”Great little getaway cottage that allows for peace and quiet but not being far away for Wanaka. The fact that the lake is literally within arms throw is amazing and that is not even to mention the views when the sun starts to rise and peak over the mountains”
