”The room was very clean and comfartable wih easy access to a beatiful garden and swimming pool. Braai facilities were available as well. Excellent location for easy access to the Kruger National Park. Our host was very friendly and provided good information on restuarants in the area.”

”Schöne Lodge mit freundlichem Besitzer und Personal. Das Frühstück wurde extra für uns zubereitet. Kleiner Pool zur Abkühlung vorhanden. Bushbabies kommen abends zu Besuch. Gut zu erreichen über die Hauptstraße und einem kurzen Stück Schotterweg. Es ist alles in dem Reserve vorhanden, was man benötigt: Tankstelle, kleiner Supermarkt, Restaurants.”

”Buckler's Lodge is located right along the Crocodile River. We saw large herds of elephants each day we were there. We received excellent service from the staff and enjoyed clean and roomy accomodations.”

Minor not-so-nice-things were that when we had a dinner at the restaurant, they didn't tell us the price, and as vegetarians we ordered only starters from the three course menu. When checking out we were told that the full three course menu should be paid even we did not eat the whole menu. So 400 rands for a green salad and a tiny fish steak.. Also after we checked out we decided to stay in front of the hotel for wifi to check out...
