Emoyeni Gardens Hotel

"We stayed at Emoyeni Gardens twice during our trip to São Tomé, before and after visiting Príncipe. During our first stay, we initially had a smaller room with a balcony, but because of a technical problem we were moved to a suite. The suite was really spacious and comfortable, and we liked it so much that we upgraded our second reservation to a suite as well. Breakfast is fairly simple but was fine for us: bread and buns, ham, cheese, yogurt, muesli, cake, coffee and tea. There were no eggs or bacon, but it was enough to start the day. The front desk staff were very helpful with all our questions. Not everyone speaks English well, but we always managed to communicate. There is a really nice pool, and the area was never crowded during our stay. The balconies have a lovely sea view, although there is a road between the hotel and the sea. Overall, Emoyeni Gardens offers a very good price-quality ratio. We enjoyed both of our stays and would happily stay here again."
