”Very helpful and friendly host. We stayed in small studio room. Exactly how it looks in photo. High standard of fittings. Great location for walking to Birgu, ferry, buses and quiet streets of Bormla. Lovely touch of water and Prosecco upon arrival. Tv has all streaming services . Really enjoyed stay and would recommend. Great to be in an old house that’s been beautifully restored and even has small lift for luggage.”

”Lovely room, very light touch. Did not really need to contact anyone directly, as all the details were well catered for. Codes for the front door and the room, cleaned every day. Even the drinking water bottle refreshed. Very comfortable, and just a fantastic location. I could not pick a spot in Valetta that would be more convenient and yet in a quiet spot not on the main tourist lanes.”

”Hyvä hotelli hienosti remontoidussa rakennuksessa. Hyvä hinta-laatusuhde, hyvä kävelyetäisyys Lavettaan.”

”Pieni yksityinen hotelli hyvien ja halpojen bussi- ja ferry-yhteyksien päässä ja siten lähellä keskustaakin. Elegantti huone ainutlaatuisine kalusteineen, loistava vuode ja hyvät aamupalat. Asiakaspalvelu erinomainen. Ainoa miinus pieni uima-allas, joka ei ollut siisteimmästä päästä, muuten kiva kattoterassi.”

”Lovely unique hotel. Staff were amazingly helpful. Our room was clean. Breakfast was excellent. The rooftop terrace was absolutely wonderful with an honesty bar so you can have a drink while you enjoy the view. Only thing to be aware of is the shower gel and teas and coffees in the room didn’t seem to be replenished every day.”

”Very well located and spacious - we were given the maisonette with direct access from the street through a narrow door and difficult steps. Interior very worn, appliances poor, really needs a good spruce up. A lot of noise from the restaurant next door esp Thursday to Saturday when they have live music. We can't say whether the main body of the hotel is better. There is a nice rooftop with a great view but not a lot of use for us. Although there was a mix up with the check in, the staff are...

”The situation is excellent. Our room was little bit too noisy, because its situaided in main corridoor and staircase”

”A nice hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Great breakfast, with superb service. Location convenient if you want to be close to the ferry going to Valletta. Otherwise, I would opt not to stay on Sliema again - very touristy without much authenticity. ”

”The location was good, but the room window faced the corridor, and the room could not be ventilated. The room was also dark and furnished with furniture from the 90s, which was nearing the end of its useful life. The TV was also on the small side.”

”Clean, well located place! Everything was perfect.”

”Henkilökunta hyvin avuliasta. Hienosti tehty remontti vanhaan taloon.

”Architecture - old castle, really unique. Interior - modern, renoved big room. Genuinely friendly, personal service. Good restaurant. As my husband stated: ”as a whole, my best hotel stay in 1000+ lifetime 60 yrs”. ”

”Wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. When we arrived at the hotel there was absolutely fantastic person welcoming us. You can fake anything else but not the attitude and the willingness to meet and help the peoples. We get so fantastic start to our vacation soo that moment hold up the whole trip. Rooms was top class. Only thing to complain was the noise coming from the bars, but it stops every night latest at 23.00. But its like that in every hotel in this centry location. Breakfast was...
