”Easy to get around the property and been able to use the pool at the villas”

”We spent 5 days in this hotel. It claims to be a five star but doesn’t live up to that. Some of the staff was extraordinary nice, while others just seemed bored of tourists. The welcoming was great despite the rainy weather. Umbrellas and sheltered vehicles were there to take care of our luggage. But there were some things missing in the room, for example schampoo and a hair dryer. We got it, but you shouldnt have to ask for elementary things like that. A hand rail was broken in the bathroom...

”Simply terrible experience. Rooms don’t have window glasses, just shades. In the first room, which was at the far end of the property, facing a field, the air conditioning didn’t work. However, we got another room, which is the only positive experience we had. The bed was really soft and hence not suitable for two persons. The breakfast was sub-standard: basically just toast, coffee and juice. Sorry to say, but: stay away from this place.”

”The best stay at Treasure Island! The staff are very friendly and adhesions to all needs. The island is perfect for friends, families and couples. Water sports was available all day, you could use the paddle boards, kayaks, catamaran and there is also snorkelling available at all times without extra cost. Breakfast was lovely, night time meal options were good and drinks also. We really enjoyed our time on the island and could have easily stayed for up to a week as our 2 nights and 3 days was...

”A five star class in a five star hotel. Located in Denarau island which is another reality from true Fiji. Good for families and less-adventurous, but bad for independent minded travellers. The breakfast was the greatest service we used, some sparkling in the morning was a great start...”

”Excellent, peaceful hotel with true South Sea atmosphere. Great service with staff knowing each customer by name. You truly feel taken care of. Surprisingly good food for a fairly small hotel like this.”

”Despite being a large and busy resort there is always somewhere you can have no one around. Also expire 2 other resorts. Heaps to do for teenagers and a good variety of restaurants. Clear water and snorkelling just off the beach. ”

We did not have any issues and concerns, even it was a bit a construction close to a restaurant and second bar was closed, that did not bother us it all. ”We have stayed multiple times at Castaway and this was by far the most disappointing. The staff were lovely as always, however the dining options were extremely disappointing. Being forced on some nights to have the buffet when all we wanted was a single dish each meant that dining was very expensive for a family of four. The resort also feels very dated now We now are in 2 minds as to whether we would come back. ”

”We spent a week at Vale Doku to celebrate an 80th birthday. We had 11 + family members aged 5-80 years. The house is thoughtfully designed with lots of space, well equipped kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms ,living and sleeping spaces swimming pool + pool toys, TV and DVDs books etc. It is the owners holiday house so there was everything you need for a holiday+ the resort facilities are available for a fee and its an easy walk to buy food at the store or eat in the cafe and restaurants at...

”The staff at this hotel were so lovely and attentive, they provided us with great service and helped us set up some excursions in addition to our shuttle. There are a few local restaurants near by, which kept us satisfied for the 5 days we were there, but we also had a kitchenette, which was nice, although we didn’t use it like we had planned with the proximity of restaurants. Another added bonus was having laundry in our room!”
