No Bedrooms, We Left· Guests should not have to dig through reviews to discover an accurate representation of a property. We have taken our family to Mammoth for 15 years, and this was the first time a rental did not match the description and listed misleading photos. We left less than 24 hours after arriving and moved to a hotel for the remainder of our 4-night stay. · There are no bedrooms. Two “lofts” are completely open to the downstairs and the hallway. Blinds that don’t fully close are in place of a wall. Guests can hear every word throughout the unit. · The lofts are not safe for young children The rim is shorter than 19 inches, with a large gap between the rim and a railing at 3 feet. · The third “bedroom” is a walk-in closet with two cut outs in the wall.·There were blood stains on one of the mattresses. It did not have a mattress protector. · We notified the owner when we left and requested a refund for two of the four nights, even though we only stayed one night. · The owner was very difficult to communicate with. We emailed her our notice of vacancy, which she ignored. She also refused to respond to our request through Vrbo and ultimately denied any sort of refund. ·Vrbo gave us 300 as an apology. ·Support said to not sign the owner's additional contract. She is collecting your personal information to book off-platform (offered in the welcome binder). When owners refuse to communicate with disappointed guests, there’s nothing you can do.
