Located on Sierra Star Golf Course, this magnificent (and pet-friendly) 4 bedroom, 4 ½ bathroom private home is the newest addition to Mammoth Lakes lodging, and is fabulous. Their impressive stone and wood exterior leads you inside to a spacious, bright environment with high ceilings and amenities only a home can provide. The gourmet, chefs kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Enjoy a dining area, custom built breakfast nook a living room with large flat screen Apple TV, a rock faced gas fireplace and full media room downstairs. The master bedroom has a king bed, 2nd fireplace, large flatscreen TV and private bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a private bath, the 3rd bedroom has 2 double beds with private en-suite full bath with walk-in shower. The 4th bedroom/media room features a state of the art 60 inch flat screen TV, Blu Ray and a Queen bed, a full private en-suite bath with walk-in shower. Relax after a day on the slopes in your private Jacuzzi, located on a large deck with a private gas barbecue, under a beautiful Mammoth starry sky. Additional comforts of this elegant cabin include a laundry room with washer/dryer, 1 car garage (garage clearance is 7' 8") with additional parking for two vehicles in the private driveway and free wireless internet. True luxury, this cozy, peaceful home will make any family gathering or special occasion a memorable one. This unit is pet friendly and can sleep up to 10. Larger group? Ask us about our other Graystone homes on the same street! All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Fabulous Mammoth Home

This home is fantastic! Plenty of room for all our little ones. They loved the hot tub and the sleds in the garage. The house was very clean, well stocked, and in a great location to get to Canyon and The Village. We would love to stay here again! Thank you!

Great spot!

The house was great, lots of space and nice to have bathrooms in every bedroom. The jacuzzi was great as well. The only thing that was that the dishwasher didn’t really work. Otherwise we loved our stay!

Easy access into home with 3 of the bedrooms on the first floor, master suite on the second floor. Included a bonfire (propane tank included if empty just call the office and they will replace with a new one, very quick and helpful team!!) we did not expect but was an added bonus for s’mores!! Exceptionally clean for a pet friendly place. Kitchen is equipped with newer appliances and cooking equipment/tools. Would definitely come back with the family or recommend to others! Overall loved the home!

We had more than enough space and we absolutely loved the backyard and even got to enjoy sledding on the snow covered golf course behind us. It was the kids first time playing in snow and it couldn’t have been better. Worth noting, only two of the 4 rooms have TVs, which was not a problem for us but it did surprise us a bit. Overall, loved this place! Will be back!

Reviewer Comments: Our annual summer golf trip with 4 buddies..... going strong now for 12 years.Everything about this fine home was superb except for two features.... carpet has lots of stains ( time to replace?), but one guest who stayed in the lower 2nd master suite had a pull out sofa as the bed and was so uncomfortable he couldn’t sleep and chose to sleep on the couch. Not good. All the other beds were fine, Hope that is addressed, otherwise it was a wonderful home and we’ll be back again and again!Paul from San Diego

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, spacious, and well-maintained the cabin was. It had everything we needed and more, making it the perfect home base for our trip.The location was ideal, giving us easy access to everything Mammoth has to offer while still feeling peaceful and secluded. The open layout made it so easy to relax and enjoy time together, and it was absolutely perfect for the kids! They had plenty of space to play, and the setup made everything feel comfortable and effortless.From cozy nights by the fire to mornings enjoying the gorgeous mountain views, every detail of this cabin was thoughtfully designed. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—this will definitely be our go-to spot for future Mammoth trips! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch cabin experience, the pictures don't do it justice on how big and open all the rooms and family area are! Highly recommend!

It could be so good but misses on a few key items

The good: clean, great location, great kitchen, private jacuzzi and a lot of space.The Bad: The TV situation is a mess, two of the rooms don't have TV's which is a major downside and the ones downstairs just don't work. The bed downstairs is the noisiest bed I have ever slept on, and just needs to be replaced. The heater situation downstairs also needs to be addressed. the two bedrooms with the beds stay pretty cold and don't heat up, while the TV Room with the pullout and the TV that doesn't work, gets extremely hot. If this place added some bunk beds in one of the rooms, got the heater situation corrected and added some TV's and proper cable it would be a 10/10. At this price range you can find a similar home in a similar location for a comparable price.

The beds were a nice size and pretty comfortable. The fold out couch needs to be replaced with a Murphy bed or trundle. That room without a real bed is kind of useless because it’s downstairs with the other bedrooms. Carpets are really dated and looked dirty.

We have found our new spot! This home was totally comfortable for us and our three grown children and their families. So eight adults and three toddlers. Each of the four bedrooms has their own bath, Super convenient. Great living space, roomy kitchen and all 11 of us were able to sit down at the table together for dinner each night. The toddlers had a great time sledding and snowboarding right in the backyard. So convenient to be able to come into the house to take a nap and go right back at it in the afternoon. Love it and already called to book for next year! We are from Huntington Beach btw.

Mammoth Cabin

This home was absolutely beautiful and spacious. The only negative to it would be the pull out bed downstairs it is incredibly uncomfortable. Unfortunately even a teenager boy couldn’t utilize it.

Major Disappointment

The house was nice, however it did not comfortably accommodate 10 as advertised. It effectively had 4 beds of varying sizes and an unusable sofa bed with no bedding and springs coming up through the mattress. The heating was unreliable forcing us to shorten our stay. The person they sent over was very nice but unable to repair the heating system which was off for over 24 hours in that instance. We had trouble with the heating system throughout our stay. Given a 89 year old adult and 3 small children, this made a comfortable stay impossible. The response time by the management company was totally unacceptable particularly given the premium rates charged for the holiday season. Upon entry, the walkway was iced over and I fell trying to get to the front door. Salt was not used as was necessary under the circumstances. The fireplaces were also difficult to light and emitted a small flame. Apparently, this was a known problem as stated by a member of the management company. Pillows and towels were in short supply. Lastly, the house had area rugs in the main living area that were apparently never moved to clean underneath because it was disgusting under them. Who can I speak with to address these concerns?

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, we did not have a very good rental experience. Upon arrival at the house, I fell on black ice leading up to the front door which clearly should have been salted or sanded. I was lucky to fall on my back instead of my head. The driveway was also poorly plowed. The house had a temperature of 55 degrees. We struggled getting the heat to work but finally got it working. The next morning the heat went off again, we called Mammoth Rentals and had to wait for anyone to call back until 4pm, almost 8 hours later. Luckily, the heat did start working again around noon. On New Year's Eve., the heat once again shut off and we couldn't get it to work. The temperatures on the lower floor ( 3 bedrooms ) was in the high 50's/ low 60's. We called Mammoth Rentals, left a number of messages and didn't receive a call back. Finally, we got through the next morning, they sent over Mitch who couldn't fix the heat and 5 of us (including my 89 year old mother in law) decided to cut our vacation short and left. The heat was finally fixed at 4pm that afternoon after a heating serviceman came by according to my son, who stayed behind with his family. Other than the generally poor customer service, detailed below is a list of other issues: 1) The house was not clean. The area rugs were never lifted to vacuum underneath. 2) It was poorly stocked with towels and pillows (only 1 bath towel per person) 3) the fireplaces were difficult to light and had very low flames (Mitch said they needed to be serviced) 4) there were 4 beds in a home that was supposed to sleep 10. The sleeper sofa had springs sticking up and was unusable. 5) the blinds were controlled by remote controls that did not work reliably. You pressed the button in the bedroom and the family room shades went up. 6) We paid a premium for this week and kept being told everyone was too busy to provide the required Customer Service. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had loved our welcome here at this home! It was perfect for our family of ten people. The rooms were extra large in size. The heater worked really well so we were kept more than warm during the blizzard weather outside. The kitchen amenities was just about enough for us to cook up our meals daily! We loved especially that every moment of the day, we would see people outside the driveway and streets plowing the snow so that we may be able to get about and onto our activities without wasting any time at all.
