The property itself was clean and the room was well taken care of. What I found inappropriate was that I said I had service animals when I booked the room and it was accepted. When I arrived at the location check in was smooth, except that the receptionist didn’t know where my room was snd pointed me to the wrong way. That was fine except that the room was right next to the breakfast room. Like they shared a wall. I asked to change rooms and even said u was fine with downsizing. The receptionist hassled me what was wrong with the room they assigned me. I was coming in late and wanted to sleep in and I figured there was going to be so much noise of people going in an hour of the room. There was. So I just ok and went to get my service dogs. When I brought them back in she demanded to see their registration.and if I didn’t provide it that I would be charged for them. I told her there is no service dog registration in the US as per ADA but I could show her my DOT form that I use when I fly with them. So I showed her and went to go to my room and she stopped me and said “well they aren’t service dogs because they aren’t wearing their vest” again ADA does not require service dogs to wear a vest to be service dogs. I told her that and she said that she needed to check with a co-worker to see if that was true. I asked to go to my room and she could come find me if she needed “additional information”. The workers should all be trained on how to handle these situations and what to ask
