It is getting renovated, but the essentials are still open- pool which most of the time we had to ourselves. ”Highly recommended! A 4 bedroom house with a private pool right on the beach. Massive house, heaps of room for a group of friends. Staff very helpful. A short drive to town and a very nice bar and restaurant just down the beach. However everything you need in the house to cook for yourself. Also has a washing machine. ”

”I loved Breakas Beach Resort! It's not a high-end, super-glitzy kind of place, but a very lovely, relaxed, simple place to stay where they still take care of your every need. The individual cottages, built of local rock, roofed with palm leaves, and scattered through the beautiful forest, are simple yet elegant. The food and drinks are excellent (watermelon daiquiris, yum!), and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Activities and tours are available every day, plus lots of assistance...

”If you're concerned about needing to ferry to and from the island constantly - don't be. The ride takes about 2mins and the boat operates constantly. The longest you'll ever wait is 5 minutes. We stayed in a waterview fare though not over the water but still excellent. Island has pools on either side as with the bars and restaurants.
