The hotel agreed to send a driver to pick me up from the airport. I provided the flight details they asked for. This happened on January 8th. My booking was for last night (January 23rd). We agreed to this because my flight had a midnight arrival, and I didn't want to try and find an unmarked building in Manila at one o' clock in the morning.
I started getting generic messages two days ago about "How to Find Us". The entire conversatio took place on Expedia. I think (but not certain) that the person who sent the generic messages was not the same person who agreed to send me a driver.
Because I found the "How to Find Us" messages odd when a driver would be taking me to the hotel, I sent a message at 8:00am (16 hours prior to arrival) that a driver was picking me up.
No response.
I send another message when I land at midnight and can't find my driver.
No response.
I send another message at 1:00am.
No response.
I send one final message at 2:00am that I hopped on a bus to go to my destination because nobody was responding and I can't find my driver.
It is now 10:30am and I have yet to receive a message or an apology from the hotel.
I have stayed at over 200 accommodations in 79 countries over the past nine years and this is the only time a hotel I booked has completely ghosted me without any incident or conflict.
Do not book this place.
