”The Staff of the motel hardly spoke English at all and refused to accept the expedia prepayment as they say they never end up getting paid by Expedia. If I wanted to stay I had to pay them again, I refused and booked another motel down the street. Despite this, Expedia refused to refund my money and basically threw the whole thing back in my lap. I will never use Expedia again nor stay at this place in Havana. Instead, dear traveler, book the RED LION Motel in Havana, much better place,...

”I had a bug in my room and some hair in the tub but otherwise pretty good stay. ”

”The room was dirty. The staff were not helpful at all. The gentleman that checked us in opened the door to our room after my husband made a trip to the car. The door was not shut all the way and he opened it just to tell me to make sure to keep door closed, he also had another customer with him. ”

”Our stay was very disappointing. Hotel had a rating of an 8 but the whole 3 days we stayed there was no internet, no working elevator, on cleaning service,(had to take out our own trash), no linen exchange,(asked on day 2 for clean towels and were told multiply times the wash was not done and then several hours later told if we bring out towels to them they would wash. Also ants in the room and dresser taped shut so they would not fly open. Breakfast was good. ”

”I booked a two-night stay here but checked out after the first night because the room was in unacceptable condition. When we arrived, the room clearly had not been cleaned. There was urine on the toilet, the pillowcases were dirty, and many surfaces looked like they had not been wiped down at all. The window was open with no screen, which made it feel unsafe and unsanitary. I actually had to go to the store and buy cleaning supplies just to make the room usable. I even had to stand on a towel...

”I did NOT stay there. The property is run down, I was given 2 different rooms and both were very poor. The bathrooms were disgusting, tubs were moldy. The first room #301 bathroom looked like a child was repairing the caulking and grout. Unbelievable how poor this property is. ”

”The location is great, right off the interstate and near many restaurants, shops, and a mall. The staff is friendly and super helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. ”
