We live in Hatteras and took our boat up to Wanchese to run some trips in late August - there was space for all of us who work on the boat and then some for our guest leaders who helped us out. ”Great place and perfect for a guy to get away from it all, or take all the wildlife found in this area. Well-located near Phelps Lake and the Pungo Unit. It is isolated, so a visit to the grocery store on the way in will save you time if you think you will be going out for groceries later. I thoroughly enjoyed Birthday House. Sent 4 messages the day i booked and one the morning of arrival and didn't receive a response to my specific inquiries until close to check in. Very disappointing experience. ”
