”While the staff was friendly and helpful, the general area is not the most appealing. A shortage of actual "restaurants" means you're limited to eating at fast food spots. Not an easy area to walk in either, as the few sidewalks I found were uneven, broken, or littered with trash. The hotel itself is OK if you just need a bed and a shower but if you're looking for a getaway weekend with your partner or you're on a business trip, this might not be the place for you. Staff is excellent.”

”Very grateful that this hotel had an actual functional (non-Tesla!) EV charger, albeit only one that was working. I am lucky that no one else was using it, since it was a Level 2 charger and I needed to charge from my arrival at 4 until midnight to get the charge I needed for the following day's trip. There were actually two chargers but only one seemed to work - it would be great if the hotel would fix the other one. Schenectedy is a sketchy city and I was hit up by a panhandler in the parking...

”I only needed one night, I'm tight on funds, but I won't go back there. It was bare to nothing. I am grateful for the room, because I needed it. But not my recommendation. Pretty sketchy area.”

”I arrived later and there was confusion regarding my parking at the facility but that was clarified and a good price established. The hallway smelled of smoke that I believe is historical and impeded in the hallway carpeting despite clear attempts to upgrade. The new shower was ill installed making turning of the water a true impossibility. The staff and owner were most eager to help in any way. They even took be to the airport before time which was greatly appreciated and the bed super...

”The place was dirty and run down. I did not feel safe in the hotel as there are many full time residents there lingering in the common areas and the parking lots. They even have signs posted claiming no responsibility for theft or damage to the cars. I would not return or recommend ”

”Buyer beware, it is not a 2 star, it is a minus 2 star. staff grumpy, the first room had holes in the floors and walls. second room marginally better. staff not helpful at all, and the pictures listed are "staged". and the coffee machine is broken and no breakfast as described. Save yourself time and don't stay here.”
