The rental was very clean, calming, and the interior exactly as described. The resort was well maintained and beautifully situated on the ocean with all amenities noted and well kept. So relaxing and quiet. The reason why we cannot give a five-star rating was the check in. The information that was given to us prior to arrival did not match up with what was actually needed to enter the resort and the unit. We had to call Vacasa multiple times for help, which did not help because they are only able to assist us with the information that they have on their end. We finally got in by following a truck that was entering the resort. Went to the unit to find out that the code given did not open the rental door. Vacasa was called again. We decided to go to the resort office to see if anyone could assist us and a sweet lady came to the unit to help. (Thankfully we arrived during the day when extra physical help was available.) She made phone calls, searched with us for the lock box with the unit key in it, she called maintaince because the code for the unit door was correct, but the door still did not open because the batteries were dead, and it took us an hour and a half to finally be in our unit. So stressful! We have rented many vacation rentals over the years, but this was the roughest start to a vacation we ever had. Happily, we can say that this vacation ended up being so relaxing and we appreciated and enjoyed the resort being beautifully situated on the ocean.
