Our fish camp location in central Texas makes it easy for you to explore all six of the Highland Lakes: Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake, LBJ Lake, Marble Falls, Lake Travis, and Lake Austin. Here are some fun facts about the Highland Lakes. The lakes span approximately 85 miles northwest of Austin, extending all the way to the capital city. They are spread across four Texas counties: Llano, Burnet, Williamson, and Travis.

In the spring, typically from the middle of March through most of June, the Highland Lakes in Central Texas transform into a magical paradise blooming with fields of wildflowers. The Bluebonnets, followed closely by the Indian Paintbrush red flowers, create magnificent fields of blue and red that will delight your eyes. Bring your boat, fishing gear, and other lake toys for endless fun. At our Fish Campsite, we offer ample space for multiple vehicles to park, including boat parking inside a lockable chain-link fence. We provide approximately 0.5 acres of land next to the house to park your cars, trucks, and lake toys such as personal watercraft and boats at an affordable price. However, we may charge extra fees for overflow parking.
