”I enjoyed my stay. The woman who checked me in was pleasant and efficient. The room was clean and newly refurbished. The only criticism I have is that the sign in front is somewhat 'discrete' and I passed the property before having to find a place I could make a U turn and figure out where I had gone wrong.....maybe some new, bright paint on the sign would help.”

”Though the hotel is right next to the freeway, the rooms are quiet. The beds are very firm. The exterior might not be sparkling, but the rooms are clean, and the towels are softer than found in other, similar hotels. I was disappointed there wasn’t a hot tub accessible by all guests: I felt this wasn’t made clear by the listing.”

”Drove down with my dogs for a race at Miller Knox park. Friendly staff. I loved how close food and groceries were. I do not expect fancy at Motel 6 - basic is A-OK. Room was fine. Parking was good and seemed safe. Dog area was extra good and spacious. There was an unfortunate but mild smoke smell left in my non-smoking the room. I'd stay again due to location, cost and convenience.”

”Well, Richmond is not the best place in No Cal. Hotel is old and decent upgrades inside the rooms. It was noisy and the room layout is bad. The bed mattresses move easily and not comfy. Best part is that Costco is near by and that was helpful. Will have to think twice if to stay here again.”

”Great place for the money. Of all the hotels on University this is easily the cleanest and best kept. Getting in and out may be the only issue but as long as you're careful it's not an issue ”

”Thin walls. Hear everything happening around you. Room was clean and comfortable though. Tv dated. Plenty of sink space. Shower head was tiny with low pressure. When it comes to safety, daytime was fine but night time be wary. Had a scary encounter. Lots of homeless in the area day and night. ”

”Customer service was really bad when I did check in and check out. Room was a bit dirty and pool area super dirty. I don’t recommend that motel to anybody.”

”Wouldn't stay here again. Smelly room especially shower, breakfast was only coffee and cerials, could have been cleanier and noicy at night. Wifi didnt work in room. Only good thing/ were parking space and Bart pretty close”

”Only down was others talking on their phone outside my room at 4:15AM and again at 6:30AM on multiple mornings. I had to get dressed n step outside to tell him others were sleeping. ”

”I had been reluctant to stay in this area being so close to Highway for a couple years now. Considered this place due to being rated over a 7.0 and having an EV charger. Only gripes: one of the two chargers don’t work, luckily the car using the working line was already full, then a light at the bedside was burned out or no working, and slight mildew smell in the shower curtain.. Otherwise, for a motel it was quiet enough, was super clean, and felt very safe and secure. On a budget, this is...

”Super easy to check in. Lots of space for a group. Extremely clean and well stocked with kitchen and bath items. Great gas stove if you like to cook. Only negative is street noise with front bedrooms. And, not to seem picky but it really needs a professional sprayer for the kitchen sink.”
