ADVENTURES ON LAKE GOGEBIC

Relax with the whole family at this cabin on the beautiful Lake Gogebic. This cozy cabin is fully stocked, centrally located to over 2,000 miles of groomed trails, lake access out the front door, hunting, hiking and skiing nearby. Plan your next adventure with us and explore the incredible Upper Peninsula of Michigan. As part of an association, there is a private boat launch along with three docks available for you to use during your stay. This allows you to launch your boat out the front door and leave it in the water for the duration of your stay. There is ample parking for trucks and trailers.

Nice little cabin.
This place is located in the middle of the woods on lake Gogebic. A perfect getaway for anyone looking for a nice peacefully time. The cabin in itself it’s pretty up to date, and has everything you would need for a night or a week stay. There are a lot of things to do and see if you’re looking to travel from the area. Now the things to watch out for. Im assuming it was the property manager or grounds keeper, both were very unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with as they lied to our face multiple times about the boat launch and docks that were provided in the description of the listening. If you planned on tying your boat to the dock be advised they have no dock cleats on any of the docks provide, not that big of a deal but would of been nice to know ahead of time. The launch I do not recommend using as they just throw leaves and dirt and dump whatever else they feel like at the end of the launch near the water. Drive down to the state park and launch it from there. Also they decided to just leave grass clippings all around the grounds after mowing, as they were just to lazy to clean them up they told me. Would I recommend this place to others? I would recommend the cabin in Itself but that’s about it.

The cabin is beautiful and quaint. Because of the lack of snow, we were essentially alone on the lake. Although cabin is small, everything is perfect.

Small but mighty, perfect for Western UP adventures
This cabin and it’s hosts are amazing! Our family if 4 found it to be a perfect size for launching to our morning adventures (and coffee on the deck) and a perfect place to return to in the afternoon/evening for a bonfire (and wine on the deck). There is lots to do within an hour drive, we hit multiple waterfalls, hiking, Lake Superior and the Porcupine Mountains. Lake of the Clouds is a must see! Make sure you bring groceries with you, there is a nice store next door but no real full grocery store nearby. And pay attention to time zones, you’ll find yourself crossing between Central and Eastern on a daily basis.

Totally enjoyed every aspect of the cabin. All the little extras that were included made this vacation that much better. The sunny morning coffees with a fishing pole on the dock was truly the most relaxing way to start the day. Even caught a monster smallmouth bass and a sunfish!!!
