”The cabin is secluded as in you can’t see your neighbors and right on the water. Lake Ainslie is beautiful lake! The cabin is small but comfortable and well-stocked with everything you’d need. Comfy beds, plenty of towels and a nice shower with plenty of hot water. The owner responded quickly when I had a question. Overall very satisfied with our stay! ”

Of the many vacation rentals that we have experienced, this is by far the nicest rental from the property, surrounding, and owners/managers. ”We had a great stay. Easy access to the Cabot Trail. The cabin had everything you needed. It was beautifully decorated and clean. Lovely screened in porch to sit out at night. The was also a fire pit area for everyone to enjoy. The host was easy to get a hold of and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend this cabin for a stay.”

”We stayed here two short nights and we’re already planning a trip back in the fall to see the colours on Cape Breton. The owner met us as we arrived and we proceeded to get a brief tour of the property. They have thought of everything! Comfortable, functional yet stylish - the design aesthetics are beautiful and clearly considered throughout. We loved the hot tub and outdoor shower. Beautiful sunsets. Special shoutout to Alexis who was so helpful (and hardworking)!”

”The Margaree Valley is visually stunning and no more than in Autumn with the leaves changing colour. The property is located on the river with a very easy walk down to the Boars Back Salmon pool. The accommodation was first rate. WiFi and cell coverage 4 bars good. Very comfortable beds. Owners were charming and immediately answered any questions we had. No hesitation in recommending this spot.”

”We poked around Cape Breton using this place for home base. It is surrounded by a quiet meadow with spectacular views across the valley. In the mornings we woke to the distant sounds of farm animals. The walk down to the river is delightful. We will return. ”

”Lovely spacious living area. Nicely laid out floor plan, 3 bedrooms at end of hallway. Well-appointed kitchen with Keurig and Nespresso machines, all cooking necessities such as pots and pans, plastic wrap, salt pepper oil. Comfortable beds and crisp cotton bedding very nice. Smallish rooms no closets no drawers to store clothes. There is a clothes rack with hangers, but no suitcase bench, basically put your suitcase on the floor and live out of it. Plenty of towels. No curtains or shades, no...
