I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel with my family because the location is great, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.
When it was time to go to sleep, I discovered that the bed in our room was clearly dirty. The sheets had a noticeable amount of lint, hair, and what looked like crumbs. There was no way my family and I could sleep in that bed. At 11:00 PM, I had to go back down to the front desk to report the issue.
While we were moved to another room, the interaction with the front desk was disappointing. There was no sincere apology or real effort to acknowledge how unacceptable the situation was. I had also asked what compensation they could offer for the inconvenience and the girl at the front desk said that the room change was the compensation…? It felt like they didn't care to make it right, which was incredibly frustrating.
The second room wasn't much better. Although the sheets were cleaner than the first room, the bed was extremely loud - every small movement was obnoxiously noisy. On top of that, the room had a strange, musty smell that made our stay uncomfortable.
Overall, I was unhappy with the lack of cleanliness, but what disappointed me the most was the poor customer service from the front desk. Clean rooms and basic empathy should be the bare minimum. I won’t recommend this hotel to friends/family and I won’t stay here again.
