”San Damiano was a very nice retreat. We could tell the staff does everything possible to be responsive and ensure a good stay. The room was very clean, comfortable beds and pillows and just the right size. The fridge, microwave and stove are all new and we had all the utensils we needed. Good fireplace. The back area is very scenic. But be CAREFUL. Remember the back is a cliff. Our dog leaped off the cliff chasing a squirrel and plummeted about 200 feet. He's alive but in bad shape. The...

”Nice clean space with room for everything we needed. Host was quick to always keep us up to date on our reservation, check in and check out.One minor issue was resolved immediately. Would stay here again although it's not fenced in on one side so luckily that was not an issue for us.”

”The house needs a lot of work, peeling paint , cracks in woodwork, mold at bottom of living room window, and light bulbs out everywhere. There is a very strong mildew odor. Host has 2 dehumidifiers running constantly which indicates a lot of moisture. It is a charming house that needs a major makeover.”

”When we arrived my wife ran over to the tree line by the pond and counted 27 kinds of birds in 10 minutes with her app (Merlin). In the evening we got a bullfrog serenade, and at night the hot tub overlooked a sea of fireflies floating like stars in the meadow. The location is close by Garden of the Gods, High Knob, Rim Rock, and about 30-40 mins from Jackson Falls, Bell Smith, and a winery. It's on a gravel road, and the tiny bridge on one of the roads from the east is a little collapsed, so...
