”The Mariposa Lodge is quiet, safe, and has friendly and helpful staff. It is on the edge of a very, very small downtown area. The town population is only about 1500 people as far as I can estimate. So if you are expecting lots of fancy shopping and restaurants, you are not in the right place. But if you want to stay in a quaint, outdoorsy place with about 20 small shops and restaurants on the way to the West gate of Yosemite, then this is the place for you and your family.”

”We were so glad we stayed at Papillon Cellars for our trip to the Yosemite area. ”We had a nice stay and was not too far from Yosemite Valley. This cabin was better than I was expecting. It's big and had vaulted ceilings. We used the hot tub each night after a day of strenuous hiking up mountains. We also used the washer and dryer. The futon/pull-out couch in the living room was extremely comfortable.
