”The property was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is not it. It is located on a busy road with extremely loud traffic all day and night. Ear plugs were provided but were useless. I'm happy thay my stay was limited to one night as I require quiet enjoyment in my lodgings. Parking was also tricky and the rivers and gardens mentioned in other reviews were non existent. This property is 2 hours away from San Jose...

”We throughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Staff were easy to deal with and very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Location worked well for our purposes. Breakfast was good and quickly served. Property was well cared for and clean.”

This is a great space for dining al fresco, doing group yoga, working, playing games or just relaxing and watching nature. Also make sure you dont need a/c. This is an eco resort. I didn't pay attention to that part of the details but still lovely at night with the fan on.”

”We spent two nights in a boutique type hotel Volcanes. It was located in the very center of Alajuela. It’s a small family run hotel with a good friendly english speaking staff. Breakfast is served by your order and it certainly is fresh. Rooms are very tidy as all the public areas. You can find rooms for different price categories. We liked it very much. ”
