”I enjoyed my stay at Riad Lai Ou Lik very much. The owner and the staff made my stay extra special. Marrakech is a busy city so it’s nice to settle in to a clean, quiet, and comfortable room after a day full of activities. The pool was a perfect place to soak after hiking and long walks. The breakfast is the best I had in Morocco. I highly recommend staying at this special Riad. ”

”Hotelli on pieni ja paikallisen kulttuurin mukainen. Huoneissa on ikkunat vain sisäpuolelle päin, mikä tekee huoneista pimeät. Tämä johtuu rakennuksesta, joka on vanha arabirakennus; muuri ulospäin, mutta kaunis sisäpiha suihkulähteineen. Huone oli siisti, suihkusta tuli lämmin vesi ja huoneessa oli myös ilmastointi/lämmitys. Lämmitystä tarvittiin, koska ilma oli raaka ja kylmä helmikuussa. Katolla on uima-allas ja sun bedit. ”Lovely riad, just outside the medina. Rooftop breakfast was divine as was the whole experience. The staff were all lovely, polite and helpful, nothing was too much for them (I would give 6 or 7 stars if possible). The room, though small, had everything we needed (air-con a must!!!). "The room and bed were comfortable. The breakfast was great. But I am only leaving 3 starts because they charge extra for the sauna. This is a problem as some people like to use saunas daily, not as a luxury. The pool use is included. Also, the hotel did not seem to work on common sense. They have weird rules and inconsistent communication. The receptionist told me that I dont need to bring a towel for the spa. I went to the spa and paid 250 dirhams for it. Then when I tried to leave, I got told that I cannot take the towel to my room. I only had dirty clothes. so they allowed me to walk to my room with a staff member, change into my own towel and hand the spa towel to the member of staff so they can take it back. I was told if I am half an hour late for checkout, I have to pay 50% of the cost of the next night. I think they should be more flexible. I was a tired, business traveller with long delays on my flight. I don't like the extra stress from pointless rules. Some of the staff seemed a bit hungry for tips, some were amazing and even refused tips. "
