”It was really helpful that my pets were able to stay for free and they even allowed for a later check out on the last day so that I could complete my work trip and pick up the dogs and then head home. The first two days were rocky because I couldn’t get a decent night sleep due to excessive noise from 217 that appears to live there but other than that, they changed my room after the second night and I was able to get a good nights rest and plenty of peace and quiet, which was amazing. ”We stayed at the Sylvan Park Boarding House in Nashville this weekend, and y’all…what a find!
First of all, the location. We loved Sylvan Park. So many great restaurants nearby, sidewalks and bike lanes, mature trees, green space—it felt like an actual neighborhood instead of just a place tourists sleep between trips downtown. We could walk out the door and go somewhere good to eat, then come back and sit on the big front porch for a while, which we did. Several times.
And the boarding house...
