”Nichole was so helpful. We were arriving after 7:30pm and she suggested the J Huston Tavern in Arrow Rock for dinner. She also made our check in after hours easy. This Hotel is lovely and the gardens were beautiful. We loved this historic hotel and the Railroad History. We slept in a comfortable post bed. It was more than a hotel it was also a museum for us. Recommend, recommend and recommend.”

”This hotel is exactly as advertised. It is a beautiful, quaint, elegant hotel in the middle of downtown Sedalia. They have really done a lot to maintain the original construction as much as possible. The food in the Oak Room was 5 stars and moderately priced. Excellent walking distance to almost anything you would like to see. The downtown architecture is beautiful. Would definitely return.”

”The room was clean and bed comfortable. The ceiling had cracks in it and along the outside wall there was black areas at the top where the ceiling meet the wall. The breakfast was considered continental but was very limited and the coffee was from a dispensing machine. The staff was very kind and helpful.”

”They don’t tell you on the website but even if you book online you have to pay a deposit and it doesn’t say that nowhere also I booked for a cheaper rate and they still tried to charge me more for the room I had no issues with the room it’s self you get what you paid for i will not be returning here souly on the staff I mean it wasn’t a lot for the deposit either I just only had enough for the room it’s self and had I known and then I forgot to put I had an infant and they made a huge deal about...

”Room was very clean, I had requested first floor and it was granted. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices.”

”Place was filthy. Sheets were stained, towels stained, toilet seat scratched up and missing paint on the seat, sink scratched up and stained, shower curtain stained. The only positive thing was the ac was ice cold but probably was blowing all kinds of nasty germs and mold into the air.”

”The property was well maintained with a decorative vibe that can’t be recreated! It was awesomely unique !! The staff was accommodating and very pleasant. The rooms were clean, efficient and affordable.”

”The room didn’t have a phone, alarm clock, hair dryer, coffee pot, or any kitchen essentials as it was advertised as a kitchenette. Not too mention no breakfast was served on the site. Also we had to leave a day early due to the storm and gave plenty of notice and the man at the front desk said there was nothing he could do. The price was outrageous for a bed!!!! Won’t be back! ”
