”We had a wonderful stay at the Lakes. It’s such a beautiful setting with so many activities on offer including a spa. We ate in the restaurant and it really is an experience- the food and service were outstanding. Bedrooms are beautiful - decor and furnishings. Guest services were very helpful both prior to arrival and on the day. We we definitely be back! ”

”Brilliant, I did leave a review on Google maps also. But I really enjoyed this stay. Me (m19) and my partner (F18) decided to go on a whim and book somewhere nice on Saturday night. It was a nice idea as we got out of her parents house. We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was clean with a nice bathroom, kitchen, living area and bedroom. We cooked ourselves a meal and had a nice bath before heading out. It's literally on the doorstep of town so everything you need is within walking...

”This was an amazing place to stay. If you are looking for an authentic "room above a country pub" experience. This is the place. It does have old pub quirks, the floors arent very level, and the access upstairs is challenging. But the charm of the beams and windows is undeniable. The apartment was beautifully decorated, and if you're into art, this places hums with it. We loved our time here. And its location means its easy to explore Gloustershire and South Wales. ”

”We spent a relaxing 2 weeks in this gorgeous period cottage. Dawn and Bette were excellent hosts and have attended to every need. Comfortable bedding, quiet and very cosy surroundings. Although only a couple of minutes from the main street it is very private and quiet. We made an excellent choice, we would recommend it to anyone looking for a base in the Cotswolds.”

”Loved this little place! It’s walking distance to all the shops. You really have to be okay climbing a latdder up to bed. My husband and I thought it was cute and part of the experience. ”It was such a wonderful experience and a memorable stay in lower slaughter. very easy drive to other villages. It had everything you need to prepare your meals although we didn’t use it. The mansion near by is worth seeing. Everybody was kind and friendly. The owner was prompt to answer questions on location when we mistakenly arrived to the wrong spot, my bad, had clear instruction how to access the cottage whitch i gave to my daughter that opened it. made her feel like Sherlock Holmes:)) ...
