”The Hero is great for a romantic getaway with spa services. The jetted tubs in the rooms are enormous. The ambiance is cozy. The free breakfast includes eggs made to order. The massages are awesome. We will be back.”

”Nice rooms, comfortable beds. I could not adjust the thermostat. Shower glass should be moveable. The hotel is oddly laid out in it’s lot, to get to the east side of the property you either have to drive all the way around from the front of the hotel or turn in by the Mexican restaurant.”

”We had to stay here for a week while we had some work done on our house. It served our needs beautifully! A laundry facility, a gym, a kitchen w/ 2-burner stove, a bedroom suite. The staff was warm and helpful. It was clean, and quiet.”

”Staff were polite and helpful. Room and facility were clean-but a little outdated. Breakfast room was very clean but the variety of food was very minimal. The pool wasn’t what we were expecting-extremely small. Sure would love Netflix, Prime Video apps available on the TV.”

”Great shower with plenty of hot water. Bedding was nice. Pleasant young man when checking in. There really isn’t much of a garden but the flowers in front were pretty. Cute hotel that has been used for awhile. Needs updated.”

”Amazing place to stay”

”Front house staff was amazingly welcoming, kind and helpful. Joey helped me square away ferry transportation in the morning and the night staff (two super sweet ladies) made check-in so quick and easy for our late arrival. Just the kindest people in the quaintest inn. Loved my overnight stay here.”

”We had ants in the bathroom, but the towels were clean. Toilet seat was severely mastered and distasteful looking. The beds were made nicely, but the sheets had stains. The room was not cleaned well. There were large chunks of debris on the floors. The armchair did not look clean at all and the lamp had a burned out bulb. The breakfast was sparse, but tolerable. The staff were helpful and polite though.”

”Very pleasant owner, she checked me in, and conveniently helped me extend my stay so I didn't have to move to another hotel. They're slowly making improvements on the place and I appreciate that because what's not awesome now, is definitely going to be improved on later. I knocked off a star because of a few ants in the bathroom and also because there was no AC, only fans and 2 built-in heaters. The fans they had were sufficient though, because the room stays pretty cool, unless you have all...

”Off the busy road in Anacortes, so it was quiet. We were going to arrive late and they waited for us so they could give us the key. This was very helpful. I liked staying there. It was my second time.”
