Hotels in this area are very high priced and this one is no exception, but a little less than the big chains. We therefore chose the least expensive room with a king bed as we were staying only 1 night...

”This property is beautiful. The bed was so incredibly comfortable and we loved our stay! The bathroom was huge and we loved that there were bunk beds for the kids. We wished we could have stayed more than 1 night here! The small kitchen was really nice as well.”

”The display is for a nice and remarkable hotel however they add the name motor lodge to the room for which you are accommodated in a separate entity not related to the hotel in the pictures which is a terrible, cheap and smelly cabinet. At first sight I thought it was like an indoor garage for cars next to the hotel. I found this confusing and deceiving and I believe these properties should be separated on the website. It was a very disappointing experience.”

I liked that parking was included and the hotel was in walking distance of a lot of things in Salem. We ate at one restaurant in the hotel for dinner and the other restaurant for breakfast. ”We just got home after spending our honeymoon in Marblehead. The Hotel Marblehead is a great stay for anyone looking for a clean, relaxing, and quaint get away. They worked with us via phone/email to set up after hours check-in. Our rooms were cleaned/made up everyday upon request. There is off street parking and I would highly recommend you take advantage of it. They do give breakfast/meal vouchers each day to a local business called the "Muffin shop." ”Excellent experience”

”I’m guessing the A/C was not working. So to fix the issue, a portable floor A/C was wheeled in which ran all night long with a tremendous noise. Definitely not a good sleep. Now check out is at 11am. We’re five people deep to checkout because the hotel is allowing guests to check their luggage in before they can get into hotel at 4pm. Not well planned from our perspective. Hotel has been great in previous stays. Maybe this was an anomaly”
