”Maison Orsini is a beautiful selection of historic buildings that open onto a courtyard and garden. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and the views from the Maison over Avignon and beyond are spectacular. About 20 minutes will walk you over to Avignon or there is a bus at the bottom of the road. Villeneuve Les Avignon is a lovely town with great places to eat and a castle overlooking the countryside. ”A fantastic find. A beautifully restored house with 4 guest rooms. Large and extremely comfortable, like sleeping in a cloud. A large and beautiful bathroom with useful little extras. A lovely garden a treat to enjoy after a busy day. The breakfast buffet was lovely with homemade cake and jams, fresh bread and freshly squeezed orange juice. Benoit and Jacques the perfect hosts. ”A great quite location super conveniently located just outside St. Michel Gate, so it worked very well as a retreat from the Festival. The host was very warm, personable and accommodating. ”Just what you would want in a beautiful country inn in Provence. The rooms were nicely appointed and the landscaping was unbelievable. Richard and Jasmine were wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious. Make sure to try Richard’s baking. Richard gave us excellent itineraries to explore. Driving on the narrow country road was a little scary but part of the adventure. Definitely a central location for exploring Provence.”
