”The apartments are great for a family of 4, spacious, proper size fridge and kitchen equipped to cook. The last time we stayed we had a room that had views of lagoon from both bedrooms and lounge (rooms 1/2/3 I think) whereas this time it was a view of the lagoon just from bedroom and outside seating area - but still lovely. I was thankful for aircon in master bedroom but it meant it was a bit warm in the other bedroom and lounge (but the kids coped fine). My husband enjoyed going for a kayak....

”We had a great experience in Vila Chaumieres, which felt like a home away from home. Our flight was cancelled and they were extremely flexible with everything. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast with a view to the lagoon was lovely experience. What is more, they spent significant amount of time and effort to help us arrange our transportation to Tanna after we missed our connecting flight. Would highly recommend this place!”

”Loved this resort! So remote but next to town which was great! The only way to transport to town was taxi and everything here is pricey but the resort itself was beautiful. ”The buggy service around the Island is pretty ordinary . Granted that they have to pick up and drop off guests all the time but there should be some priority given to some cases . eg: Like waiting to go to the airport with baggage. "The hotel has definitely seen better days, everything was coming undone. The whole place could use a coat of paint... The bathroom door wouldn't close as it was falling apart. There were a ton of cockroaches running around (probably a common problem around the island but anyhow, annoying). The pool had no lounge chairs so bring a pool float or something unless you enjoy sunbathing on the hard ground. Wifi basically only worked in the lobby. The room was a good size and the little balcony was a nice addition, but I would not stay there again especially for the price we paid."
